There's something about this time of year that makes me gravitate to nautical designs so much more! I was searching some nail art images&ran across this simple&bold design; hope you guys like it!--all the colors were from China Glaze's Anchors Away collection.

I've been slightly obsessed with Ciate's 3D Caviar Nail art for a while but it's been sold out practically since the moment it came out!

One day I was attempting to make thank you cards for some people that I spoke to at a convention ( and thinking.."oh you guys WILL remember me.) I ran across my microbeads that I used for a couple pages in my scrapbook. I realized..you know what..these things look just like Ciate's Caviar Nail art!

A little bit of polish and runaway beads and TA-DA ------------>

I went through out my day and immediately started rummaging through they rest of my craft box and lo&behold I found more beads!

The bottom (black nails) are the og ones from Ciate and as you can see they look practically the same to the ones i tried! I haven't put on the top coat so it's not as shiny but still! And so much cheaper! The microbeads can be found in the embellishing section of any craft store. I know one big jar runs for 3.99$ but you can get them in a pack of 6 different colors for about 6 or 7 dollar i can't really remember.

But overall I think it's AWESOME and I hope you do too ! If you end up trying it or have any other methods, pictures let me know!!

I never understand fully why some spend SO much money on a pair of jeans; 295$ on a pair of True Religions are just a taaad absurd. So when I roam around in unaffordable stores like Nordstroms or Saks 5th I almost always bypass the jeans section cause hello! overpriced for poor ol' I-work-an-average-of-2-days-a-week me :)
By the way, talk about crazy department store prices..certain things they sell in there I see in like Ross, Marshalls and TJmaxx for like 10-14 bucks and they wanna try and sell a shirt that I would walk by even if someone gave it to me for FREE for 45$. Crazy nimcompoops.

My jean curiousity started to over power me and I decided to see what the hype was all about. I grabbed a pair of true religions ( skinny for research purposes ) and a pair of 7 for all mankind (super skinny gwenevere --again for the sake of research) and lemme tell you guys somethin'.........AMAZING. i felt NAKED....in denim....cause thats just how lightweight and just PERFECT they felt on me. Not to mention how how ah-maz-ing they make thine buttocks look ;) no seriously. Let's not deny this any further...im asian...there is like...A HANDFUL..of us that have like an inkling of an ass. I'm in the the fistful that have...none..and so these jeans actually made me one. Really. They literally MADE ME A NEW ASS.
I fell in love.............just not with the price tag...219$..yoooowza!

Next? True Religions style Julie.
ummm....they were...okaaay. Kind of anticlimatic after what I had experienced with the other jean. They are suuuupposed to create an ass for those assless also. However, I didn't see any work :/ They kinda make your leg look slimmer so that's a plus? They are pretty low cut in my opinion and its made of the stretch material lycra sooo it felt kind of weird at first. All in all...they were...okay.

They only thing about these jeans are that they run fairly small. Normal people who wear sizes 5-9 will find themselves bumping up a size or two to fit into these jeans. A normal size 7 has a waist lying flat of about 16in a size 7 in these jeans (about a size 28) has a waist lying flat of about 14 1/2 - 15inches.

But don't trust my word for it...next time you're in a shop that carries them go fulfill the fluttering curiousity in your soul as I have done with mind :)

Rekindled love

I love J.Crew. There's no debate about our love. It is a pure and satisfying relationship. Our love and bond grew even stronger when I went shopping the other day and ran across the J.Crew leggings.

Now it has been (sort of ) wide-spread that I was againsnt leggings for a long time due to some people/ladies who have been led down a wrong path and wore their leggings with....t shirts ie. school shirts/sponsered shirts etc...hoodies......regular ol' tank tops anything that doesn't cover their bumbum. Leading to a serious error that wrenched my heart whenever I saw one of these..people/ladies. I say people/ladies..because I saw a guy at school several times, wear leggings with a ...green....teired..top..hm.

Anyways. these leggings from jcrew brought back my love. I want to wear them with EVERYTHING but have to practice restraint >< so hard. they are the most comfortable leggings in the UNIVERSE. 100% cotton and fabulous :)
AND for such a good price for great quality! I got them at the factory J.Crew store at sawgrass mills so I know it won't be avail for everyone but still..they were 20% off plus my student discount of 15% so it came down to 14 bucks for them! One of the best 14 bucks I've ever spent.

Yeah yeah yeah I know. I some other posts on here but I privated them cause they were so depressing! You guys wouldn't have liked that stuff. Unless you revel in my dark times. I used to have time to blog alot but now I rarely do...every now and time I hit up the blogster here to complain..vent...cry...laugh..etc etc. But now i'm just always shopping on ebay instead and playing typing maniac on facebook.
I swear 2 of the most addicting things EVER to surface in my life.
